Easy Apache is a Powerful tool that you can use from your cPanel that will allow you to change you version of Apache or php, enable and disable modules such as Ioncube loader, memcache, or zendgaurd. Here is cpanels documentation on it: docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/EasyApache/WebHome
So the first thing you’ll need to do is log into your WHM: How to log into your WHM
Once in your WHM you will want to go to the search bar in the top left and type in Easy
Then select Easy Apache
So now you are able to build your profile. You’ll normally want to choose Previously Saved Config (**DEFAULT**) and then click on the gear to the right of the profile to start customizing the profile.
Here you can choose which Apache Version to use, the Default is 2.2.27, then click on Next Step.
You can choose which version of PHP you want to use here. As of now php 5.2 was removed from WHM by default. Once you have chosen your php go to next step, and will take you to the short options list.
Here you can chose some of the options you want, such as IonCube, xcache, or zend guard. Once you have selected the options you need you can click on Exhaustive Options List.
Here there are some more options, such as memcache, that you can choose. When you are finished scroll to the bottom and click on save and build. This will ask you if you are sure you want to save and build and go ahead. From here it’s a 15 to 30 minutes process to rebuild your apache server. DO NOT CLOSE THE WINDOW. It’s important to let the rebuild work it’s way through, do not close the window as it’s rebuilding.
